Acceptance

By downloading or using RiskMap (the "App"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the App. These Terms are governed by Apple's standard End User License Agreement, available at apple.com/legal, which is incorporated by reference.

Informational Use Only

Risk scores, hazard assessments, and related outputs produced by RiskMap are derived from third-party U.S. public-agency datasets and are provided for informational purposes only. They do not constitute professional engineering, environmental, legal, financial, or security assessments and should not be used as the sole basis for any decision affecting property, safety, or life. SecureWarn makes no warranty regarding the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of underlying data.

Subscriptions

RiskMap offers optional auto-renewing subscriptions. Subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your Apple ID account settings. Prices may change with advance notice. SecureWarn does not process or store payment information.

Permitted Use

You may use the App for lawful personal, commercial, or government purposes consistent with applicable law. You may not reverse-engineer, decompile, or redistribute the App or its underlying data without written permission from SecureWarn.

Intellectual Property

All content, software, and branding in the App and on this website are owned by SecureWarn or its licensors. The SecureWarn wordmark is pending trademark registration. Underlying datasets used in scoring are obtained from U.S. public agencies and other authoritative public sources under their respective terms; derived scoring outputs and application code are proprietary.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SecureWarn is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of the App, including reliance on risk scores or hazard data. Total liability is limited to the amount paid for the applicable subscription in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. SecureWarn does not warrant that the App will be error-free, that data will be current, or that outputs will be accurate for any specific location or use case.

Age Requirements

The App is rated 13+ on the Apple App Store. You must be at least 13 years old to use the App.

Export Control

The App may be subject to U.S. export control laws, including the Export Administration Regulations (EAR). The App incorporates cryptography for data protection. You agree not to export or re-export the App to any country, entity, or person prohibited under applicable U.S. law.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Bexar County, Texas.

Changes to These Terms

Updated Terms are published at this URL with a revised effective date. Continued use of the App after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
