Privacy Policy
Effective: 2026-07-11
RiskMap is built to work without knowing who you are. There is no account, no third-party tracking, and no SecureWarn server that collects your data.
What We Collect
RiskMap does not require an account, registration, or sign-in, and does not collect information that personally identifies you. Risk scoring runs on your device. We do not maintain a server that receives your personal data.
What We Share
SecureWarn does not sell your data and does not share personal information with third parties. We do not include third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs.
Location Data
Your precise location never leaves your device. RiskMap scores the current area on-device against a bundled dataset. When you enable live data layers, only a coarse ZIP-area location is sent to U.S. public-agency APIs (such as the National Weather Service, USGS, and the EPA) to retrieve local conditions in real time — never to SecureWarn, and never for tracking. Manual address entry is available without granting location permission.
On-Device AI
RiskMap's AI analyst runs entirely on your device using Apple's frameworks. No question you ask, no address, and no score is sent to any external AI service, model provider, or other third party. Voice input, when used, is transcribed on-device; no audio is transmitted.
iCloud Sync
If you save locations on a paid tier, they can sync across your devices through your own private iCloud (CloudKit) account. Only the location label and its ZIP area are stored; precise coordinates are never synced. This data lives in your private iCloud database, which SecureWarn cannot access — there is no SecureWarn server and no developer access path.
Data Storage
Risk scores, reports, saved locations, and conversation history are stored locally on your device. Enterprise access credentials, where applicable, are stored in the iOS Keychain on your device and are not transmitted to SecureWarn servers.
Diagnostics
RiskMap uses Apple's on-device MetricKit framework to record performance diagnostics (such as launch time and memory use) locally. This data is not transmitted to SecureWarn or any third party. Diagnostic reports reach the developer only if you choose to Share with App Developers in your device Settings; Apple handles that sharing, and it contains no personal information.
Third-Party SDKs
No third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs are included in RiskMap.
Subscription Payments
Paid subscriptions in RiskMap are processed by Apple through the App Store. SecureWarn does not receive, process, or store payment card information.
Children's Privacy
RiskMap does not collect personal information from any user, including children under 13. RiskMap is rated 13+ on the Apple App Store and is not intended for users under 13.
